DEATH is a part of life. Coming to grips with our own mortality can awaken in us a new consciousness of life’s fullness. It’s natural to spend time contemplating one’s own death and to make preparations for the end of life. Yet in the midst of uncertainty and worry, there remains moments of joy. It is always worthwhile to take the time to celebrate the little things in life. Although death is the end of our eathly life, we believe in the promise of a new life to come. God will raise us from death and prepare us for eternal life.

Funerary Services and Counselling

In the Berlin Mennonite congregation, we support people who are confronted with death. We provide funerary services to our members, as well as to others on request. We offer counselling, an open ear for any questions surrounding life and death. We feel ourselves to be borne by the God of life who has overcome death, and already calls us to live life to the full.
